Turning in
What's checked when he turns an assignment in, and what he sees when something isn't finished.
When he's done, he presses Turn in in the top right corner of the assignment. Homework Gate checks that it's finished, never whether it's right.
What gets checked
- The sheet: every answer, however he gave it: typed, photographed on paper, or drawn.
- The working on each question: a question he answered with a photo or a drawing is checked with that picture, so the steps he wrote count, not just the final answer read from them.
- Any photos he adds in the Turn in dialog, for work that's only on paper.
Not finished yet
If something's left, the dialog says what (for example, the steps for a problem) and stays open. He fixes it on the sheet and turns it in again. Nothing says which answers are right or wrong.
Finished
The assignment is marked done. When it's the last one tonight, he's taken back to Today, where the quiz is next.
